A clearer view of the data that drives action

Meaningful action starts with knowing where to focus.

At the beginning of the school year, EL administrators need to understand their programs quickly. They need a clear picture of where students are, where support is most needed, and what their teams should prioritize as the year begins.

In our previous post, we explored how Forms serves as the system of action for multilingual learner programs – the place where teams coordinate support, document decisions, and manage the workflows that help students move forward. But that system of action is strongest when it begins with clear priorities.

That’s why we’ve modernized the Ellevation Dashboard experience: to make it easier for program leaders to surface the insights that guide their work, share them with the right people, and keep teams aligned from day one.

Clarity when the school year begins

Back-to-school creates a unique set of challenges for multilingual learner programs. Districts are onboarding students, configuring programs, preparing beginning-of-year workflows, and helping educators understand the needs of the students they will support.

During this period, program leaders need more than access to data. They need to quickly make sense of it, identify priorities, and communicate what matters across their teams.

Our new modernized Dashboards are designed to make that work clearer and more efficient – a cleaner interface and more consistent data visualizations make performance information easier to interpret at a glance. Program leaders can more quickly understand what the data is showing and where further attention may be needed.

Share the right view with the right people

Insights are most valuable when they reach the educators who can act on them.

Streamlined sharing capabilities make it easier to get the right Dashboard views in front of the right audiences. Program leaders can more efficiently share relevant information with colleagues and help teams stay aligned around current priorities.

Updated program-wide messaging also allows leaders to add context alongside the data. Rather than simply seeing a set of numbers, educators can better understand why those insights matter and how they should inform the work ahead.

Together, clearer visualizations, improved sharing, and contextual messaging help turn Dashboard views into a more useful foundation for program alignment and decision-making.

Build and update Dashboards where the work happens

We've also made it easier for administrators to shape the Dashboard experience around their program's needs.

New add and edit tile capabilities allow administrators to build and update Dashboards directly from the place where they view their data, without navigating through additional steps.

This gives program leaders a more direct way to maintain relevant views as priorities change throughout the school year. They can more easily keep the information their teams rely on current, focused, and aligned to the work happening across their programs.

From clear priorities to coordinated action

Together, these enhancements help program leaders surface insights, share them efficiently, and ensure every educator walks into the school year with a clear picture of what their students need.

When program leaders can quickly surface insights, communicate their significance, and align teams around priorities, educators can begin the school year with a stronger understanding of their students and greater confidence in what to do next.

That clarity then feeds the broader system of action.

Dashboards help leaders identify where attention is needed. Forms gives teams a place to coordinate the actions that follow – documenting decisions, managing compliance workflows, monitoring progress, and connecting student growth to planning and support.

Together, these experiences strengthen Ellevation's unified ELD solution™. They help multilingual learner teams move from understanding student needs to coordinating support, and from clearer program insight to the instructional action that helps students grow.
