What does the most current neuroscience and biliteracy research say about teaching CLD learners how to read? What are the factors that facilitate and roadblocks that inhibit emergent bilingual learners from learning how to read in English? What are the sciences that are intended to influence and inform ELA/Reading instruction? Using Mind-Brain-Education Science principles, neurobiology of bilingualism research, and five decades of experience teaching CLD learners, Jo Gusman will answer these questions and share her Neuroscience-Based processes and strategies for enhancing ELD and ELA/Reading instruction for all CLD learners.
