Highest Aspirations is seeking audio submissions from listeners, past podcast guests and anyone else who wants to appreciate a teacher who has gone above and beyond for their English learners. 

How to Participate

Record a short audio message that includes the following:

• Quick intro (Hello, my name is ____ from ____ ) 

• Teacher(s) you would like to thank and why

  • “I want to thank Ms. Yoon in Richmond, who has been creating virtual art opportunities for her students that my daughter looks forward to every week.”

  • “My school’s EL specialist, Jack Hill, who brings all of his students’ cultures into his lessons. Thank you for your incredible work Jack!”

You can record your audio submission on either a computer via Zoom or by creating a voice memo on your mobile device. We recommend 30-60 seconds for the length of the recording. After recording, you can export the audio and email it as an attachment to haley.sandifer@ellevationeducation.com.

We will be featuring these submissions each week on Highest Aspirations through the end of the school year.  You'll get an email from us letting you know which episode your shout-out is scheduled to be featured on.

Episodes go live every Tuesday and can be found wherever you get your podcasts, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts and on Ellevation’s Community page. We can't wait to hear from you and recognize the fantastic things our educators are doing across the country!
