Honoring heritage in the workplace with Yolanda Rios and Roxanne Rodriguez
Leadership is often shaped by personal experiences, and for many in the Latinx community, family and cultural heritage play a pivotal role. These roots influence how individuals approach challenges, build relationships, and create a sense of belonging within their work environments.
In this episode of Highest Aspirations, Yolanda Rios and Roxanne Rodriguez reflect on how their Latinx backgrounds shape their professional lives and leadership approaches. As active members of the SOMOS ELL Employee Resource Group, they discuss the importance of fostering community at Ellevation, embracing cultural diversity, and paving the way for future leaders by honoring their roots both at work and in life.
